| Degree | Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. If your bachelor’s degree is not computer science related, you may be required to complete a short course on data structures essentials. |
| Minimum GPA | The minimum GPA is 2.75. If your GPA is below 2.75 and you have adequate professional experience, a holistic evaluation will be conducted by a committee for a final decision. |

Data Structure Essentials Bootcamp Entry Option
Students who don’t meet the basic admission requirements may gain entry to the program through a free Data Structures Essentials Bootcamp. Learners complete the bootcamp equipped with the coding skills necessary to help better understand and tackle assignments in the master’s program.
The bootcamp takes 2–4 weeks to complete and can be taken at your own pace at any time following conditional acceptance to the program from the university. The course content consists of required reading from Zybooks and relevant practice activities. A final assessment is required with a pass mark of 8/10 to progress into the master’s program.
Who is the bootcamp for?
The bootcamp is a foundational course that is highly recommended for students who want to break into the field but are currently lacking the coding skills required to tackle coursework in the master’s program.

Transfer Credits
You may be able to transfer up to six graduate credits from another institution of higher education that is of comparable academic standing to Lebanese American University.
