Technology and Support

Our online degree programs offer the flexibility and convenience you need to complete your studies while balancing work and life commitments. We utilize cutting-edge, user-friendly tools to deliver an immersive virtual learning experience so you can connect with your peers and instructors from anywhere.

Learn more about hardware and software requirements, technical support, and more below.

Technology Requirements

Students are required to have regular, reliable access to a computer with a stable internet connection.

Our online courses are delivered through Blackboard, which is designed to work on Windows- and Macintosh-based systems. At this time, Linux is not a supported operating system.

Please note, while the minimum allowed Windows operating system is Windows 7, students are strongly advised to use a newer operating system for Windows machines (i.e. Windows 8 or 10).

Tech Support

As soon as you begin your studies, you will be introduced to a student services coordinator. They will provide personalized support throughout your time at Lebanese American University, acting as a resource for questions about technical support and more.

We also have a 24/7 help desk and IT support as necessary for escalated issues. For help with Blackboard-specific questions, click here.
