Faculty Spotlight: Khalil Mershad
Dr. Mershad is Assistant Professor of Computer Science at LAU. He has an ME and PhD in Computer and Communications Engineering from the American University of Beirut (AUB) and worked as a Research Director at Qatar University between 2013 and 2016.
Dr. Mershad served as the chairperson of the Computer Science Department at the Modern University for Business and Science (MUBS) between 2020 and 2022. He has also been an IEEE member since 2018, where he became involved in many research projects in the fields of mobile computing, cybersecurity, blockchain and wireless networks. He has published more than 50 scientific papers in highly reputed journals and conferences related to computer science and engineering.
